In the land where there are no trees, or horizons, or sunshine. In a land where foxes can talk to radios, and dandy's lions can play tricks on stick people. Boot fox is king.

Once again, Bootfox's dreams are vanquished because someone "was just joshing". Sure, it was just a little joke to them, but it was another cruel and thoughtless blow to Bootfox, who serves as an endearing metaphor for Everyman. Or at least everyfox who lives in a boot.
